We make lots of class books, but this is by far the classroom favorite.  I use our school digital camera to take a picture of each of the children early in the school year, then use the pictures to illustrate our book What Do You See?  The first page might have a picture of "Brittany" with the words: "Brittany, Brittany, who do you see?  I see Austin looking at me!"  and so on, until the last child's page with"...I see Mrs. Bonthuis looking at me!" then "Mrs. Bonthuis, Mrs. Bonthuis, who do you see?  I see Brittany, Austin....(and so on with corresponding small pictures all on one page)....looking at me.  That's what I see!"  I make an extra copy of this book and put it in "The Brown Bear Suitcase" and the children take turns bringing it home for a few days.  They LOVE "reading" this book to their families.
