I am very lucky to be teaching across the hall from some wonderful First Grade Teachers.  I've asked them if I could post some of the really neat displays I have seen in their room recently..

The first pictures are from Mrs. Hochstetler.  She has the children all "tear" paper into a snowman.  I was really surprised at how great these turned out!  She also did a similar activity with Santa Claus earlier this year.  I LOVE this activity!  (Thanks, Beth!)

This was a neat display in Ms. Morrison's First grade classroom.  They are "Snow Shovels".  The "stick" part is made of a sentence strip and has a winter sentence written on it.  The "scoop" part has a winter picture drawn onto it.  I fell in love with these the minute I saw them.  Fun display!  (Thanks Amy!)
