Stone Soup

Lots of versions of this story (and we read and compare several of them) but I like the above version best.

Each child chooses some vegetables cards (I had them randomly choose 15) glue them to their pot then chart how many of each vegetable they got

A writing activity for a class book on how to make their favorite food (turns out funny! :) )

Use these cards for a sentence strip patterned "hat" and for the "My Stone Soup" activity from above.

Put all the vegetable words in a pile, upside down, in the middle. Take turns drawing a card. Each player gets a "pot" to put the words they know in.
