Computer Center, Leveled Reader Pocket Chart on Door.  The "Good Work Triangle" (Is it careful?  Is it colorful?  Is it detailed?) above the computers.  You can also see some of the boxes that hold my units My Giving Tree (where I post things that parents can donate to the classroom) My Birthday bulletin board...bottom right is the actual birthday crowns in order for the year so I don't forget to give them to kids and I can see who is next.  The blue shelf is for nap time towels.  The rainbow colored little bins I got from Lakeshore (I repainted them to match my tables) and hold gluesticks, golf pencils, and scissors.  Below them are wooden marker stands that a parent made for me.  I have one for each child.
Red table, doubles as the ABC center during center time.  The bins coordinate with the pocket chart and are for my literacy center groups (I call it "Rainbow Reading".  On the desks are Handwriting Without Tears Workbook, Math workbook, Star (like Moose) notebooks, Poetry notebooks, and a clipboard for each child. This is the purple table, that doubles as the Math Center during center time.  The bins coordinate with the pocket chart for "Rainbow Math" where kids choose a math bin according to their color group.
My Lakeshore science table.  Our first science unit is Five Senses.  The kids have to search for different colored objects hidden among the "rainbow grass".  There is a clear plastic cover screwed on this table, so the kids just look (not touch)...kind of hard to see in this picture. Dramatic Play Center.  I use old phones and cell phones to have kids practice their phone numbers.
Name Game (from Month by Month by Patricia Cunningham).  Part of the process is cutting their names a part and having them put them back together.  I'm trying it this year with their names on magnetic paper. Art Center which doubles as the Blue Table.  The bus pocket chart is for "Teacher's Choice" centers.  The kids all start out in assigned centers for the first 10 minutes or so, then can move to free choice.  Art Center isn't organized much yet.

My Star of The Week Board.                  Book Area

Table Toys Center and The Yellow Table   Back shelf flannelboard and Lego Letters
Puzzle Center.  You can also see the square white board I use for my "Choice Box" (behavior plan). Homework bags.  You can also see the red tape on the floor where the kids line up to go home.  I have 3 tape lines in different colors.
Writing Center.  Love my new Lakeshore sight word magnets (red words on the chalkboard)! This is the table where I will do Guided Reading.

My Room (taken from all four "corners").  It's HUGE!  I can't wait for the kids to start!
