Mondays are new vocabulary days! We rotate through math, literacy, and science vocabulary. I try to find lots of way to assure a deeper understanding of vocabulary words. We act them out, make charts, build them with play dough (especially good with shapes, 3d shapes, and positional words), and, my favorite, draw about them.
